Food With Friends is a collaborative restaurant decision app that helps groups discover nearby venues and vote together on where to eat. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the app.
Food With Friends may create an anonymous account identifier so you can use the app. When you create or join a group session, we may collect your display name, session details, invite codes, participation status, preferences, and votes.
If you allow location access, we use your device location to find nearby restaurants and set the search area for your group session. You can revoke location access at any time in your device settings.
If you use QR code scanning to join a group session, we request camera access. Camera access is used only for scanning session QR codes.
If you allow push notifications, we may collect a device notification token so we can send session-related updates, such as join or voting activity.
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status and link it to your app account. We do not receive your full payment card number.
Our backend services and third-party providers may process standard technical data, such as IP address, device type, operating system, app version, logs, and crash or diagnostic information for security, operation, and reliability.
